Haley Palmer concentrates her practice on the formation, structuring, and management of investment funds, including private equity, private credit, venture capital, and real estate funds. She has also represented investors in the acquisition and sale of partnership interests on the secondary market and has experience in mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
Haley regularly represents sponsors and institutional investors in connection with primary and secondary investments, co-investments, and separately managed accounts. She also advises clients on regulatory and securities issues, strategic relationships, corporate governance, and other general corporate matters.
Some of the clients Haley has recently worked with on the sponsor side include NOVA Infrastructure and ACRE and on the investor side, several multinational institutional investors and sovereign wealth funds.
In addition, Haley maintains an active pro bono practice representing clients in immigration matters and recently assisted in securing a successful habeas corpus petition on behalf of a detained client. She is also a board member of the Notre Dame Lawyers of New York City.
