Zoë MacDonald advises public and private companies on mergers and acquisitions and strategic transactions in domestic and cross-border matters. She has experience across a range of industries, including technology, artificial intelligence, financial technology, life sciences, and health care.

Most recently, Zoë assisted with Bora Pharmaceuticals' $122.5 million acquisition of the GMP manufacturing operations of MacroGenics (Nasdaq: MGNX).

Outside of her transactional work, Zoë is committed to an active pro bono practice through the Firm's Border Project, where she provides on-the-ground legal support to asylum clients at detention facilities in Laredo, Texas.

Zoë is the author of "Defending Children’s Data Privacy: Strategies for the 21st Century," 76 UC Law SF L.J. 589 (2025).
