Javier Gutiérrez cuenta con más de 14 años de experiencia en la representación de clientes nacionales e internacionales en todo tipo de asuntos relacionados con la legislación laboral española.

Javier posee extensa experiencia en el asesoramiento sobre una amplia gama de asuntos, incluyendo aspectos laborales derivados de transacciones transfronterizas, litigios complejos, reorganizaciones (particularmente bajo esquemas de regulación TUPE), reestructuraciones y despidos temporales, despidos basados tanto en motivos disciplinarios como corporativos, negociaciones colectivas y esquemas de incentivos. Javier también proporciona asesoramiento en la redacción y negociación de acuerdos de alta dirección y puestos clave, incluidos contratos de altos ejecutivos, pactos de no competencia y acuerdos de separación. Asimismo, asesora en cuestiones de privacidad y protección de datos en el marco de las relaciones laborales, incluida la redacción e implementación de los protocolos de cumplimiento de los empleados, el control de los sistemas de TI relacionados con el trabajo y la video vigilancia en el lugar de trabajo.

Javier ha desarrollado conocimientos específicos de diversos sectores, habiendo asesorado a clientes que operan en distintas industrias tales como ciencias de la vida y atención médica (Cardinal Health, Curium, Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals y Merz Pharma; tecnología (Ansys, Blackberry y Verizon), textil (Coach/Stuart Weitzman), e industrial y automotriz (Ferro, General Electric y International Automotive Components).

Javier asesora regularmente a ONGs como miembro activo de la práctica Pro-Bono de Jones Day en Madrid. Ha impartido conferencias como profesor en el Centro de Estudios Garrigues e ISDE y es miembro del Foro Español de Laboralistas (FORELAB), asociación líder de abogados laboralistas españoles.
