Luke Cipolla's practice focuses on intellectual property with an emphasis on patent and trade secret litigation. Luke has experience in every stage of litigation, including pleadings, fact and expert discovery, claim construction, dispositive motions, and trial preparation. Luke has represented domestic and international clients in federal district courts, in arbitration, and before the International Trade Commission (ITC).
In the past year, Luke has been an integral part of two trial teams — one before the ITC and one before an arbitrator. At both trials Luke helped prepare fact and expert witness direct testimony and assisted with cross-examination of fact and expert witnesses. He also has drafted a mediation brief that helped obtain a favorable settlement agreement.
Luke has worked with a diverse range clients, leveraging his mechanical engineering degree in various areas such as computer chips, smart wearable technology, software, and battery manufacturing technology.
