Anshul Asri

Anshul Asri advises private equity sponsors and multinational companies on complex cross-border acquisitions, investments, and joint ventures across Europe, the Middle East, and India.

Anshul advises on buy-side and sell-side transactions across a range of sectors, including life sciences, technology, industrials, financial services, and real estate. He advises private equity sponsors and corporates on acquisitions, disposals, carve-outs, and strategic investments.

Prior to joining Jones Day in 2026, Anshul practiced as a senior associate in the corporate team of a leading international law firm in London. His experience includes advising MidEuropa on its acquisition of pharmaceutical manufacturing services provider FAMAR, Intermediate Capital Group on the sale of Nadella Group, Duke Street on its acquisition of Suir Engineering, and Bluegem Capital Partners on the sale of Enotria Wine Group.

Anshul also advised multinational companies on cross-border joint ventures, strategic investments, and complex corporate separations, including Ooredoo Group on the formation of a US$2.2 billion telecommunications tower joint venture with Zain Group and work relating to the global spin-off of GE HealthCare, GE Vernova, and GE Aerospace.

Earlier in his career, Anshul practiced at a top-tier law firm in India, advising on significant M&A transactions involving multinational investors.
