"FinAccelerate Empowered by Jones Day" announces 2026 cohort, marking the program's 5th year

Participating companies were selected based on the strength of team and innovative technology.

The 2026 cohort has been announced for FinAccelerate Empowered by Jones Day, an accelerator program to assist selected fintech start-up companies with legal know-how, while also connecting selectees with leading financial institutions, investors, and potential joint venture partners to accelerate their businesses. This is the fifth year of this impactful program, which takes place October 20-23, 2026, in the Firm's Silicon Valley office.

"As FinAccelerate marks its fifth year, we are more excited than ever about where this program is headed," said Abradat Kamalpour, a partner in Jones Day's Financial Markets Practice who is leading the initiative. "We have continued to elevate this platform into an increasingly powerful launch pad for fintech innovation, and we are looking to expand the resources, mentorship, and investor access we offer to the next generation of companies we select."

Over the past four years, Jones Day has supported nearly 100 innovative fintech companies across the region, and we're excited to help even more founders accelerate their growth. Speakers and mentors from multiple companies have contributed extensively to the program, including Andreessen Horowitz, Electric Capital, Google,  Goldman Sachs, Coinbase, Ripple, Koch Disruptive Technologies, Silicon Valley Bank, Franklin Templeton, Ribbit Capital, Galaxy Digital, Draper Goren Blockchain, and Accenture, among many others. This year's program follows the recent European component of FinAccelerate, which took place in the Firm's Paris Office in July.

"Reaching our fifth year is a testament to the strength of Jones Day’s full-service, global Financial Markets Practice," added Jay Tambe, Practice Leader for the Firm's Financial Markets Practice. "We look forward to deepening our network of mentors and investors, and are eager to see how this next chapter propels an even broader range of visionary companies."

Designed to support high-quality fintech businesses, participating companies will be selected based on the strength of their team and innovative technology. There is no charge to those chosen, nor do they have to share any equity stake in order to participate.

The selected fintech companies serving in the cohort this year are awarded a place at the four-day program, followed by ongoing engagement with influential global thought leaders and investors. More information about the structure of the program can be found on the FinAccelerate website.
