Carrie O'Connor is dedicated to Jones Day's Border Project, which provides access to legal information and representation to individuals seeking asylum or other related forms of protection. Carrie assists in managing the on-the-ground operations of the Border Project in the Rio Grande Valley area of Texas.
Before joining Jones Day, Carrie was a Justice Catalyst Fellow at the Texas Civil Rights Project. Prior to law school, she worked with immigrant communities as an outreach coordinator and advocate at the Urban Justice Center's Safety Net Project and as a member of AmeriCorps VISTA in a local public health department in Oregon.
