Theresa Zirbs focuses on patent litigation before the Unified Patent Court (UPC) and national courts. Her work spans preliminary injunction and inspection proceedings, infringement proceedings, oppositions, nullity proceedings, FTO (freedom to operate) searches, and strategic prosecution. Theresa advises clients across a range of technology-driven industries, including robotics, consumer electronics, aircraft cabin electronics, software, optical devices, photoablative lasers, and construction formwork systems.
She regularly represents international clients in complex patent disputes. Theresa also advises clients on the negotiation of global licensing agreements and post-judgment enforcement.
During her clerkship, Theresa worked as a legal researcher in the Munich Office and gained crossover experience in the areas of patent litigation and intellectual property law, data privacy, and white collar crime.
