Dr. Sven Rihm ist ein deutscher und europäischer Patentanwalt und berät Mandanten seit fast 25 Jahren in allen Aspekten auf dem Gebiet des gewerblichen Rechtsschutzes. Neben der jahrzehntelangen Erfahrung in der Erteilung gewerblicher Schutzrechte, verfügt er über umfangreiche Praxis in Einspruchs-. Beschwerde-, sowie Nichtigkeitsverfahren vor dem Deutschen und Europäischen Patentamt, dem Bundespatentgericht sowie vor dem Einheitlichen Patentgericht. Dr. Rihm berät zudem in allen Fragen zu ergänzenden Schutzzertifikaten (SPC) und erstellt Freedom-to-Operate und Due-Diligence-Analysen sowie Patentvaliditätsgutachten.

Seine universitäre Ausbildung ermöglicht es ihm, Mandanten in allen technischen Aspekten auf dem Gebiet der organischen, anorganischen und technischen Chemie, sowie bei Technologien auf dem Gebiet der Life Sciences, Biotechnologie und Arzneimittel zu beraten.

Vor Jones Day praktizierte Dr. Rihm in einer der größten deutschen Anwaltskanzleien und in einer kleinen deutschen IP Boutique.

Dr. Rihm ist Mitglied der deutschen Patentanwaltskammer (PAK), dem Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office (epi), der International Federation of Industrial Property Attorneys (FICPI) und der Vereinigung von Fachleuten des gewerblichen Rechtsschutzes (VPP).
