Shajia Orbig berät Arzneimittel-, und Medizinproduktehersteller sowie Biotechnologieunternehmen in allen Phasen des Produktlebenszyklus, von der Entwicklung über die Markteinführung bis hin zum Vertrieb. Sie berät Mandanten zu vertragsrechtlichen Fragestellungen bei Abschluss von Kollaborations-, Lizenz-, Vertriebs-, und sonstigen Verträgen und unterstützt Mandanten bei der Einhaltung des breiten Spektrums an regulatorischen Anforderungen. Darüber hinaus berät sie Mandanten bei inländischen und grenzüberschreitenden M&A-, und Private-Equity-Transaktionen und Finanzierungsrunden im Healthcare und Life-Science Sektor und sonstigen technologieorientierten Branchen.

Vor Beginn ihrer Tätigkeit bei Jones Day arbeitete Frau Orbig als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin in internationalen und nationalen Kanzleien und beriet deutsche und internationale Unternehmen in Fragen des gewerblichen Rechtsschutzes, Technologie und des Datenschutzes.

Während ihres Referendariats am Superior Court of California im Jahr 2019 sammelte sie Erfahrungen im amerikanischen Strafrecht und Strafprozessrecht unter der Leitung des vorsitzenden Richters.
