Dr. Martin Lotz berät international agierende Unternehmen in Datenschutzfragen, insbesondere bei der Implementierung global angelegter Compliance Projekte, (multinationaler) Data Breaches, internationaler Datentransfers, im Rahmen von internen Untersuchungen, eDiscoveries, zu Fragen des Direktmarketings, der datenschutzkonformen Implementierung von Cookies und anderen Tracking-Technologien, des Arbeitnehmerdatenschutzes sowie zu datenschutzrechtlichen Fragestellungen im Gesundheitssektor und in M&A-Transaktionen.

Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt ist die Beratung von Mandanten zu strafrechtlichen Fragestellungen und Compliance. Dr. Martin Lotz verfügt über umfangreiche Erfahrung auf dem Gebiet der grenzüberschreitenden Compliance-Untersuchungen und war erst kürzlich Mitglied einer großen multinationalen Untersuchung im Zusammenhang mit Verfahren, die von US-amerikanischen und deutschen Regulierungs- und Strafverfolgungsbehörden eingeleitet wurden.

Dr. Martin Lotz ist Mitglied der International Association for Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Im Rahmen seiner Pro-Bono-Tätigkeit hat er HIAS mehrere Wochen vor Ort bei der rechtlichen Beratung von Flüchtlingen auf Lesbos und BEforUkraine beim Transport von Krankenwägen in die Ukraine unterstützt.
