Momoko Kanda's practice is focused on the areas of private equity and mergers and acquisitions. She advises clients on a broad range of corporate transactions, including private and public merger transactions, acquisitions, investments, divestments, joint ventures, and restructurings. She also advises clients on their day-to-day business needs such as commercial agreements, ongoing Singapore regulatory obligations, and employment-related matters. Momoko has also worked with fund sponsors and investors in the establishment of private equity and real estate funds and the portfolio investments undertaken by such funds.

Prior to joining Jones Day in 2018, Momoko practiced at a leading Singaporean law firm where she advised clients on corporate finance and M&A in a variety of industries, including health care, telecommunications, education, and insurance.
