Michael Huneycutt develops solutions to advise clients on improving efficiency, reducing costs, and increasing the quality of the e-discovery process. Michael has 15 years of experience counseling clients in government investigations, internal investigations, and securities litigation, conducting factual research and analysis and advising on the deployment of policy, process, and technology to reduce risk and cost. He works with Jones Day's lawyers across practice groups to tailor strategies and discovery management plans for clients around the globe, in numerous industries and disciplines.
Clients value Michael's practical experience in designing and executing complex discovery plans and managing legal teams consisting of clients, attorneys, and technology vendors. He frequently advises clients on issues regarding e-discovery, including early case assessment, document preservation, responses to e-discovery requests, records management, and litigation hold processes. He has extensive experience leading the managed review and production of electronically stored information for a wide variety of matters, including complex litigation and cross-border discovery projects. Additionally, Michael provides guidance on the protection of attorney-client privilege and work product materials as well as best practices for the creation of privilege logs.
