Chris Erlinger represents employers in complex labor and employment litigation, including class and collective actions arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), the Railway Labor Act (RLA), and other federal, state, and local labor and employment laws. He has extensive experience in all pretrial stages of litigation.

Chris frequently counsels employers regarding compliance with wage and hour laws, the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN), and pay transparency and equity laws. He also maintains a robust transactional practice and has advised on labor and employment matters in dozens of transactions that include mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and spin-offs, as well as international transactions.

Chris's pro bono portfolio includes representing individuals in asylum proceedings through the Firm's Border Project, representing wrongfully convicted individuals through the Innocence Project, and counseling and representing nonprofit organizations on labor and employment matters. Before becoming a lawyer, Chris was a lecturer in The Ohio State University's Department of Classics.
