Nathan Dahlstrom represents clients in complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on antitrust and competition issues in multiparty, class action, and multidistrict litigation. His experience covers cases related to algorithmic pricing, banking standards, and mortgage lending.
Nathan's practice focuses on litigation involving antitrust claims in state and federal courts. His most recent experience involves defending a client against claims under federal and state antitrust laws relating to allegations of algorithmic price fixing.
Nathan also brings significant experience in critical motions practice. He has briefed summary judgment motions and motions to compel on behalf of an international bank and has prepared TRO (temporary restraining order) briefing on behalf of a national pharmaceutical company. His experience spans multiple state and federal courts.
Nathan maintains an active pro bono practice through Jones Day's Border Project. He recently briefed a successful habeas petition in federal court on behalf of two Iranian immigrants, arguing that their continued detention violated the Fifth Amendment's Due Process Clause.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2025, Nathan served as a law clerk to Judge Robert E. Wier of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky and as a law clerk on the Senate Judiciary Committee to Senator Charles E. Grassley.
