Gabriel Buffey's practice is focused on complex litigation, insurance recovery, and counseling corporate clients in a variety of challenging situations. He has helped represent clients in breach of contract disputes, antitrust and intellectual property litigation, state and local government actions, and class actions. In addition, he has helped corporate policyholders recover from their insurers for losses from cybersecurity incidents, privacy claims, environmental claims, and credit defaults. He also has served as lead counsel defending Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) litigation.
Gabriel maintains an active pro bono practice, which includes representing non-citizens challenging removal proceedings in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and seeking justice for victims of domestic violence in San Francisco and Marin counties.
