Alex Veness is an English-qualified corporate lawyer with a focus on real estate private equity. Alex advises equity funds, asset managers, and other financial institutions on a range of transactions, including fund formations, joint ventures, investments, acquisitions, disposals, management mandates, and development projects. Alex advises clients in Asia as well as American and European clients on their Asia transactions.

Alex has recently worked with clients such as Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners, The Townsend Group, ARA Asset Management, Greystar Real Estate Partners, CBRE Global Investment Partners, and Pantheon Ventures, among others.

Prior to relocating to Singapore from London in 2022, Alex advised clients on private equity and M&A transactions primarily in the logistics, student housing, and build-to-rent sectors. Alex also served a year-long secondment with Greystar Real Estate Partners.
