Maik Sauerbier joined our New Lawyers Group (NLG) in 2025. The NLG provides our newest lawyers with the opportunity to gain exposure to different practice areas and lawyering styles before making a commitment to a specific practice. Individuals in the NLG may focus on a particular area of practice, or compare practices, during their first year with Jones Day. Maik will be focusing on labor and employment law.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Maik gained practical experience with a focus on litigation at several international law firms, with placements in Zurich, Hamburg, and Munich. In addition, he served as a civil law lecturer at a leading bar exam preparation course.
