Solène Noris practices in the field of French, European, and international environmental law. She assists French and international clients in litigation, administrative, and transactional proceedings relating to industrial risks, extra-financial reporting, extended producer responsibility, chemical substances, and climate change.

Solène also advises industrial operators on the creation, operation, and closure of facilities classified for environmental protection (ICPE/Installation Classée pour la Protection de l'Environnement). Prior to joining Jones Day in 2022, Solène served as a law clerk in the offshore wind legal department of TotalEnergies Renewables.

  • Électricité de Strasbourg forms JV with ErametJones Day advised Électricité de Strasbourg, an energy provider in Alsace (France), in the formation of a joint venture with Eramet, one of the leading French actors in the mining and metallurgy industries, to develop and use joint capabilities for the extraction, refining and production of lithium from geothermal resources, with a targeted annual volume of 10,000 tons of lithium corresponding to the volume necessary to produce c.250,000 batteries for electric vehicles per year).
