Francesca Montefusco advises Italian and international operators on all real estate and contract law aspects of transactions and investments in Italy. She assists clients with the acquisition, disposal, development, leasing, and management of real estate assets and portfolios. She has significant experience in asset and share deals, sale and leaseback transactions, as well as the real estate components of corporate reorganizations, complex M&A, and financing transactions.
Francesca regularly assists clients in the drafting and negotiation of real estate lease agreements, going concern lease agreements, real estate development projects, construction agreements, and in conducting real estate due diligence.
Francesca has worked across a wide range of asset classes, with a particular focus on luxury hotels, retail assets (including shopping centers, retail parks, and flagship stores), logistics facilities, data centers, office buildings, and mixed-use properties.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2026, Francesca was an associate in the real estate departments of leading international law firms, where she gained significant experience in cross-border transactions that included working in London.
