Sabrina Hoàng-Lan Jones is a litigator with experience at every stage of trial advocacy from pretrial motion practice through direct- and cross-examination of witnesses at trial. She has also collaborated on amicus and appellate briefs to the Second and Eleventh Circuits and the Board of Immigration Appeals.
Most recently, she was the primary drafter of numerous motions, oppositions, and replies in a dispute between the two of California's largest health care providers. Her practice also includes a range of internal and external investigations. She has helped companies investigate employee misuse of company resources and repeat thefts of millions of dollars of company products, as well as respond to state and federal investigations from the California Attorney General, the Department of Justice (DOJ), and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
Sabrina maintains a deep and sustained commitment to a wide breadth of pro bono advocacy. She represents wrongfully incarcerated individuals requesting post-conviction DNA testing to prove innocence, domestic violence survivors pursuing long-term restraining orders, undocumented immigrants seeking relief from deportation, and transgender individuals in obtaining name and gender-marker changes.
