Nick Johnston focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation, with significant experience in high-stakes patent disputes involving pharmaceutical and medical device technologies. He has represented clients in Hatch-Waxman litigation as well as proceedings before the International Trade Commission (ITC), where his work has included a matter involving cochlear implant technology. Nick has extensive experience across multiple stages of litigation, including pre-complaint fact development, pleadings, discovery requests, expert discovery, contentions, claim construction, pretrial motions, and dispositive motions.
Nick is committed to pro bono service. He has represented clients seeking asylum in the United States, assisting with merits hearing preparation and supporting documentation throughout the immigration process.
Nick is also an active member of the Richard Linn American Inn of Court.
