Antonio González's practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation and domestic and international arbitration, including cases involving contractual disputes, corporate and shareholders litigation, bankruptcy, and financial matters.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2013, Antonio represented a client in a complex arbitration related to the distribution in the United States of some of the largest Mexican company beer brands. He also acted as lead counsel in several contractual litigations involving private international parties and government agencies.

Represented Grupo Tribasa during its bankruptcy proceedings (concurso mercantil), which resulted in the successful restructuring of its US$2 billion debt.
Represented Grupo Satmex during its bankruptcy proceedings (concurso mercantil), which resulted in the successful restructuring of its US$600 million debt.
Represented the Bank of New York Mellon as bondholder trustee during the bankruptcy proceedings (concurso mercantil) of San Luis Corporación, S.A.
Successfully represented Banamex (Citigroup) before the Mexican courts in several lawsuits involving derivative transactions and other financial instruments.
