Garrett Fox represents clients in various business litigation contexts, including confidentiality and noncompetition agreement disputes. He also has experience defending clients in civil and criminal investigations initiated by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). His practice includes distilling and framing legal issues, fact gathering, discovery, in-depth legal research, and brief writing in state and federal courts.

Garrett also maintains an active pro bono practice. He has contributed to briefs in dozens of federal criminal appeals and has presented oral argument in two criminal cases before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, including a successful appeal on behalf of a habeas corpus petitioner in Lowe v. United States, 920 F.3d 414 (6th Cir. 2019). Garrett has also represented armed services veterans in obtaining disability benefits from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Prior to joining Jones Day in 2021, Garrett served two federal clerkships.
