Kiersen Commons represents clients across a broad range of high-stakes, complex matters including actions brought under antitrust and consumer protection laws. She has experience with class action lawsuits, multidistrict litigation, state attorney general investigations, and matters brought by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

Kiersen works with a variety of clients including those in the pharmaceutical and agricultural industries. Her recent matters include representation of a manufacturer in an FTC investigation on repair restrictions and representation of a pharmaceutical company in an FTC investigation, a multistate class action, and state civil investigations concerning the prices of its insulin products.

She previously defended Axon against the FTC's effort to unwind the company's acquisition of another body-worn camera manufacturer and now represents the company in parallel private litigation.

Her experience includes fact and witness preparation, electronic discovery management and strategy, fact and expert witness deposition preparation, drafting motions, and trial preparation.

Kiersen also maintains a robust pro bono practice, which includes successfully representing immigrants seeking asylum in the United States. She focuses her efforts on matters under Jones Day's Hate Crimes Task Force.
