Emily Akins represents clients in complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts, employment disputes, prelitigation settlement negotiations, and internal investigation and white collar matters. Emily has experience counseling clients prelitigation, conducting and responding to written discovery, drafting pretrial motions, taking and defending depositions, preparing for trial and mediation, and negotiating favorable settlements for Firm clients.
Emily maintains an active pro bono practice that includes representing individuals seeking asylum in the United States.
