Blake Jennings Hawthorne joined our New Lawyers Group (NLG) in 2025. The NLG provides our newest lawyers with the opportunity to gain exposure to different practice areas and lawyering styles before making a commitment to a specific practice. Individuals in the NLG may focus on a particular area of practice, or compare practices, during their first year with Jones Day.
Prior to law school, Blake worked at Restaurant Brands International (RBI, the parent company of Burger King, Tim Hortons, Popeyes, and Firehouse Subs). At RBI, Blake worked across several vastly different roles, including Popeyes marketing execution, Popeyes global financial planning and analysis, HR, and leading Burger King's U.S. product launch team.
