Maguire Tausch

Maguire Tausch is a litigator who focuses his growing practice on defending and advising employers in complex labor and employment matters.

Maguire's experience includes litigation in state and federal courts through all phases of fact investigation, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation. He represents Fortune 500 companies and other employers in the railroad and energy industries and assists in counseling C-suite executives on complex employment and regulatory matters, including those involving the OFCCP (Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs). He also has experience with internal investigations, whistleblower complaints, and traditional labor matters.

Maguire has served on pro bono trial teams representing clients in federal habeas proceedings and appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals. He also has partnered with the Georgia Justice Project and the Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence to provide pro bono legal services.

Before law school, Maguire was a judicial secretary to then-Administrative and Presiding Judge Brendan J. Sheehan of the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court (2021-2022). In that role, he worked with Judge Sheehan to launch one of the nation's first court-supervised violence intervention programs with funding from the U.S. Department of Justice.
