Michael Stoer practices primarily in the area of mass torts, product liability, and other complex litigation in state and federal courts. He has significant experience coordinating and managing complex litigation and has worked extensively in the multiparty and joint defense context. He also has managed and coordinated fact investigation and development of multiple cases on parallel and sequential tracks in coordinated litigation. Michael has significant practical experience managing discovery, briefing, and arguing discovery disputes; conducting offensive and defensive discovery; taking and defending depositions; evaluating, developing, and preparing expert witnesses for depositions; and drafting dispositive motions.

Most recently, he has been active in the defense of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company and Allergan in various complex multiparty matters. Michael also maintains an active pro bono veterans law practice.

Michael is member of the Atlanta Bar Association and the State Bars of New York, Georgia, and Florida. He has served on the faculty for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy Deposition Skills Program, as well as the Kessler-Eidson Program for Trial Techniques at Emory University School of Law. Michael is active in the Atlanta community, where he has served on the board of his neighborhood association, and coordinates the Firm's veterans services initiative for the Atlanta Office.
