Dayme Sanchez has a wide range of experience litigating cases from the pleading stage to trial in state and federal courts and in international arbitrations. She has prepared fact and expert witnesses, direct and cross-examinations, opening and closing presentations, motions and complaints, propounded discovery requests and interrogatories, taken and defended depositions, worked with experts, and handled post-judgment enforcement proceedings. She has successfully argued motions to dismiss, for summary judgment, to set aside default judgment, in limine, quash subpoenas, and numerous discovery-related motions.

Dayme has defended nationwide class actions and complex commercial cases involving antitrust, false advertising, unfair business practices, breach of warranty, fraud, breach of contract, copyright, trademark, breach of fiduciary duties, and labor and employment. She regularly counsels clients during prelitigation stages and settlement negotiations and has worked with clients in many industries, including technology, energy, consumer goods, health care, and banking. Recent representations include defending class actions alleging false advertising concerning headphones, snack foods, and sanitizers and defending a global software corporation in a trade secrets and antitrust violations case.

Dayme also has extensive experience handling international disputes. She has represented clients in arbitrations before the ICC, ICDR, and AAA. She has worked in proceedings applying foreign laws, conducted in Spanish, and in every aspect of arbitration, from drafting statements of claim and defense through the hearing, post-hearing submissions, and enforcing awards. Recent representations include defending an energy firm in a fraud and antitrust dispute involving Venezuela's state-owned oil company and defending a coal mining company in a shareholder dispute involving a Colombian railway.
