Michael Paslavsky practices complex commercial litigation, with a focus on securities litigation and other shareholder disputes, including merger litigation. Michael represents clients in federal and state courts in litigation under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). He has experience drafting dispositive motions in state and federal courts, as well as responding to and affirmatively serving discovery requests.
Michael rejoined Jones Day in 2023 after serving as a term law clerk for United States District Court Judge Mary S. Scriven.
Before attending law school, Michael worked as a credit analyst in the middle market banking group at Wells Fargo where he partnered with senior bankers in the underwriting of direct debt commitments for a diverse group of companies, including in the sports and media space. He successfully completed the three levels of the Wells Fargo Credit Training program in 2016.
