Alaura Perdzock represents corporate clients in complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts, including disputes involving breach of contracts, business torts, and product liability. Her practice includes evaluating claims and legal issues, managing teams to develop facts and evidence, working closely with expert witnesses, drafting motions and briefs in the trial and appellate courts, and preparing for trial.
Alaura has served clients in the aviation, transportation, financial services, consumer products, and health care industries. Recently, Alaura assisted in successfully defending a global engineering and aerospace company in a dispute stemming from a multibillion dollar aircraft development program before the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). Alaura currently defends a global leader in coatings and related products in product liability lawsuits.
Alaura has successfully represented pro bono clients in appeals before the Pennsylvania Superior Court concerning Pennsylvania's Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law and before administrative judges in connection with Pittsburgh's Project H.E.L.P. (Homeless Experience Legal Protection) Program. She currently represents a client seeking asylum as part of the Firm's Border Project, which provides legal information and representation to women refugees detained at the southern border.
