LeBrian Mays joined our New Lawyers Group (NLG) in 2026. The NLG gives our newest lawyers exposure to different practice areas and lawyering styles before they commit to a specific practice. Individuals in the NLG may focus on a particular area of practice, or compare practices, during their first year with Jones Day.
Before joining the Firm, LeBrian served as a law clerk to Judge James E. Simmons Jr. on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. Prior to law school, he was a strategic business analyst and held several claims management roles at an industry-leading auto insurer. LeBrian is actively involved in the community as a member of the Earl B. Gilliam Bar Association.
