Eva-Maria Lange focuses her practice on investigations and white collar defense, particularly in the areas of compliance matters, sanctions, and export controls.

Eva-Maria advises clients on internal investigations, the management of compliance crises, and the implementation, further development, and effectiveness review of compliance programs and on foreign trade matters involving sanctions and export controls.

She has assisted in internal investigations for international companies related to allegations of corruption, anti-money laundering, fraud, and breach of trust. She has experience in foreign trade law, with a focus on exports to third countries and sanctions-related questions, and in a wide range of industries, including automotive, technology, and chemicals.

Before joining Jones Day in 2022, Eva-Maria worked as a legal clerk at international commercial law firms where she focused on M&A, labor law, and compliance. She also gained experience in international commercial trade law while studying at Tsinghua University in Beijing.
