Céalagh Fitzpatrick defends corporations in complex civil litigations and investigations. She has worked on matters at every stage, from internal investigations to jury trial and appeals, in federal and New York state courts, as well as arbitration hearings. Céalagh has a particular focus on financial institution clients and has represented them in cutting-edge cases involving derivatives, securitizations, and other complex financial products.

Céalagh has litigated and counseled clients in a variety of disputes arising out of alleged breaches of contract, including indentures, licenses, and International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) agreements; antitrust violations; and class actions. She has also defended clients against civil and criminal investigations by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), and other federal agencies.

Céalagh maintains an active pro bono practice, primarily representing clients in matters concerning immigration and family law. She has worked with organizations including Kids in Need of Defense, Her Justice, and Immigration Equality to provide legal representation to those with limited access to legal services.
