Rhéa Christophilopoulos advises on a broad range of financing transactions across the credit spectrum. She is dedicated to providing clients commercial and pragmatic solutions to complex issues involving investment-grade and acquisition financings, including leveraged buyouts and debt restructurings. She acts for lenders, financial sponsors, and borrowers.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2026, Rhéa advised on many types of financing deals, including the initial purchasers and banks on the high yield bond offering by Atos SE and its entry into a new revolving credit facility; the arrangers on the financing of the public offer by Boréal Bidco (an entity held by Bridgepoint and General Atlantic Coöperatief U.A.) of Esker; the arrangers on the financing of numerous acquisitions by Lactalis, including the acquisition of the consumer and associated businesses of Fontera and the acquisition of the natural cheese dairy products in the United States, the grated natural cheese dairy products in Canada, and the natural cheese dairy products and processed cheese products outside the United States and Canada for one of the largest food and beverage companies in the world; Teleperformance on the financing of the public offer of Majorel (which was awarded best financial transaction by Club des Trente) and the financings of the acquisitions of Health Advocate, the Intelenet Group, Language Line Services Limited, and Language Line Solutions, including their first sustainability-linked revolving facility; and the mandated lead arrangers in the financing of the public offer by Schneider Electric of Aveva, a UK-listed company (which was awarded French deal of the year by GlobalCapital).
