Kassie Callesen represents employers in a variety of labor and employment matters. Her litigation experience includes defending clients against discrimination claims brought under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and other federal, state, and local laws. She also has experience performing internal investigations in response to employee complaints and counseling clients on a broad range of labor and employment inquiries.
Kassie maintains an active pro bono practice and has helped a Rwandan refugee secure asylum status and represented a Virginia inmate in an innocence proceeding.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2023, Kassie served as a law clerk to Judge Robert E. Wier on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky.
