Engin Akerdem focuses on acquisition financings for financial sponsors, debt funds, and strategic investors as well as on real estate finance, leverage finance transactions, and corporate finance matters. He advises sponsors, borrowers, and lenders on a wide range of syndicated lending, corporate debt matters, cross-border financial restructurings, and complex refinancing transactions.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Engin worked for more than four years for several national and international law firms as a legal and research assistant, where he gained significant experience in the areas of real estate, finance, litigation, and corporate law.
