Sheila Shadmand represents major multinational companies in a diverse range of complex commercial disputes and regulatory compliance issues around the world. She represents both Middle Eastern clients in complex disputes abroad and major international companies in disputes before courts and arbitral bodies in the UAE and throughout the Middle East. Sheila also advises international companies on the FCPA, the UKBA, anti-money laundering, U.S. and U.N. sanctions programs, and other regulatory issues unique to international business.

Sheila's recent representations include: serving as Chair of the Tribunal in a DIAC construction/property dispute; leading an FCPA internal investigation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; representing a Middle Eastern firm in a $25 million USD dispute involving assets in New York, London, India, and the UAE; representing a major international bank in UAE litigation and LCIA arbitration involving $6 million USD in assets; and representing a trust in UAE proceedings involving $80 million USD in debt with assets located in the UAE, U.K., and France.

Sheila is also widely known for her leading role in the "White House Emails" lawsuit, which was successful in preserving and restoring more than 22 million missing emails that had been deleted from White House servers during the Bush Administration.

Sheila has appeared on CNN, MSNBC, and a number of other news-related broadcasts and print media in connection with her work. She is the Administrative Partner and Pro Bono Partner-in-Charge of the Dubai Office and leads the Firm's International Litigation & Arbitration Practice in the Middle East.
