Ryan Hill advises on a wide range of complex investment and development commercial real estate transactions involving a variety of property types, including student housing, build-to-rent, logistics, hotels, and office premises. He advises on acquisitions and disposals, refinancings, property development, and landlord and tenant work.

He has substantial experience in dealing with forward funding agreements and development financing structures as well as property and development management agreements used as part of joint venture arrangements.

Ryan has extensive recent experience in the student housing and build-to-rent sectors. He has acted on numerous portfolio acquisitions and financings for iQ Student Accommodation, including the recent acquisition of the Pure Student Living and dealing with the ongoing development of the properties within the group. In addition to his experience in the student accommodation sector, Ryan has acted on a number of acquisitions and developments for Greystar.

Ryan has acted for many other clients including Cortland Real Estate Partners, Oxford Properties, CIT Partners, iQ Student Accommodation, Henley Investment Management, Goldman Sachs, MARK, CBRE, Pictet Advisers, and Delancey.
