Washington, DC - Jones Day announces that two more nationally-recognized attorneys have joined the Firm as partners in its San Francisco Office. Martin H. Myers litigates for and counsels high-tech companies and others on insurance recovery matters. Brent M. Cohen's practice focuses on real estate transactional matters involving investment banks, opportunity funds, and other institutional investors. Both come from the San Francisco office of Heller Ehrman. With the arrival of Messrs. Myers and Cohen, Jones Day has now added a total of 25 lateral partners to its five California offices since the beginning of 2007, nine of them in San Francisco.
"These latest additions enhance our capabilities in serving the needs of our technology clients, and in having a strong California component to our Firm's leading real estate practice nationwide," said Bob Mittelstaedt, Partner-in-Charge of Jones Day's San Francisco office. "Not only are both of them accomplished lawyers, they are good guys whom we and our clients will enjoy working with."
