Marta Delgado's practice is concentrated on EC and antitrust law and intellectual and industrial property law. She co-heads the Madrid competition practice. Her experience includes advising clients in matters related to state aids, economic mergers, restrictive agreements, abuse of dominant position, intellectual and industrial property disputes, and unfair competition. Marta also heads the intellectual property practice in Madrid and advises clients regarding matters of intellectual and industrial property disputes (complex patent infraction, utility models, and plant varieties) before the national courts and Court of First Instance in Luxembourg as well as representing them in transactional operations, licenses, and settlements. She also has experience advising companies in the pharmaceutical industry.

Marta has represented clients such as Apple, Bulgari, Burger King, Celgene, Centrica, Dole Foods, EDF, Endesa, Jesús del Pozo, Orange (France Telecom), Procter & Gamble, Repsol, RIM (Blackberry), The Riverside Corporation, sanofi-aventis, Ses Astra, Toys "R" Us, Vista Capital, Voest, and Yamaha Corporation.

Recently she represented Procter & Gamble in its acquisition of the Sara Lee Air Care division, Dole Foods in the European Commission's investigation of the Southern Europe exotic fruit market, and Centrica Energía before the Supreme Court in the appeal against electricity tariff regulations.

Marta is an associate professor of competition law at the University Carlos III of Madrid and is a member of the Board of Professors of the Master's in European Law program at the same university.
