Vanessa Sounthakith intervient dans tous les domaines de la fiscalité française et internationale.

Vanessa Sounthakith conseille des entreprises françaises et internationales dans le cadre d’opérations transactionnelles (fusions-acquisitions, capital-investissement et immobilier), d'opérations financières et de grands projets industriels. Elle assiste plus particulièrement ses clients dans la structuration de ces opérations, les audits fiscaux et la mise en place de mécanismes d’intéressement des dirigeants et salariés. Elle dispose en sus d'une expertise particulière en matière de cotisations et contributions de sécurité sociale. Vanessa Sounthakith représente également ses clients dans le cadre de contrôles fiscaux et de contentieux fiscaux devant l'administration fiscale française et les juridictions fiscales.

Avant de rejoindre Jones Day, Vanessa Sounthakith a exercé au sein d’une boutique fiscale patrimoniale dédiée à la clientèle privée. Elle a aussi travaillé au sein d’équipes fiscales de cabinets internationaux.

Vanessa Sounthakith enseigne la fiscalité des groupes à l'Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne.
