Bernard Amory co-dirige la pratique Droit de la Concurrence & Antitrust de Jones Day au niveau mondial, après avoir dirigé le bureau de Bruxelles pendant 7 ans. Il représente de nombreux clients devant la Commission européenne et les tribunaux de l’Union européenne à Luxembourg, ainsi que devant les tribunaux nationaux et les autorités nationales de concurrence en Europe.

Il est intervenu dans divers dossiers récents ou en cours relatifs à l'article 101 (pratiques restrictives) et a notamment représenté American Airlines dans le cadre du cartel du fret aérien et de la « One World Alliance » ; Aventis dans le cadre du cartel des vitamines ; Parker Hannifin dans le cadre du cartel des tuyaux marins ; UPM dans le cadre des cartels du papier, des produits forestiers et des sacs industriels ; Dole dans le cadre du cartel des bananes ; MasterCard dans l’enquête sur les commissions d’interchange ; et O2 dans l’affaire O2/T-Mobile sur le partage d’infrastructures et le roaming national.

Bernard Amory a représenté la partie notifiante lors de grandes opérations de concentrations, telles que BT/MCI et BT/AT&T, Total/Petrofina, Renault/Nissan, Procter & Gamble/Gillette et Warner Music/Parlophone. Il a également représenté les parties intervenantes et les parties plaignantes, telles que Warner Music lors de la fusion EMI/Sony et EMI/Universal ; BT lors de la fusion Vodafone/Mannesmann ; Tele Denmark lors de la fusion Telia/Telenor ; et AT&T lors de la fusion MCI/WorldCom/Sprint.

Par ailleurs, il possède une expérience significative dans les affaires d’abus de position dominante (article 102) telles que l’affaire du roaming dans laquelle il a représenté Telefonica-O2 ; l’affaire Microsoft dans laquelle il a représenté un des plaignants, ou encore l’affaire Intel dans laquelle il a représenté Dell. Son expérience des aides d'État et des mesures nationales inclut la représentation de BUPA sur le risque de mise en place d’un plan de péréquation en Irlande ainsi que différents dossiers pour Bouygues. Il intervient aussi comme arbitre.

Bernard Amory a été membre du conseil de l’International Bar Association (SBL) et est actuellement membre du comité consultatif du European Competition Journal.
