Jones Day represented Wells Fargo Bank, National Association in connection with the redevelopment of a decommissioned coal power plant in Savannah, Georgia into a luxury hotel. The transaction involved multiple levels of mezzanine financing, state and historic tax credits, bridge financing, and municipal bond financing for which intercreditor agreements were negotiated, and which involved complicated construction and leasehold condominium issues.
