Client(s) Associated Estates Realty Corporation

Jones Day advised Associated Estates Realty Corporation in the acquisition by an affiliate of Brookfield Asset Management for $2.5 billion including the assumption of debt. Brookfield acquired all outstanding shares of common stock of Associated Estates for $28.75 per share in cash.
