Evan Singer focuses his practice on complex commercial and business litigation, including securities, breach of contract, director and officer liability, mergers and acquisition, and bankruptcy-related claims. He has represented companies and their officers and directors in securities class actions, in shareholder derivative actions, and in proxy contests. Evan also has defended claims brought under the False Claims Act and has experience conducting internal investigations related to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. In addition, he has substantial experience in litigation involving the servicing of subprime mortgage loans, including serving as the court-appointed "coordinating counsel" for the defendants in a statewide consolidated proceeding. Evan regularly counsels clients concerning their director and officer liability insurance and indemnification programs.

With a background in aviation, Evan represents major U.S. airlines and their employees in a variety of regulatory matters before the Federal Aviation Administration, the Department of Transportation, and other federal agencies. Though no longer an active pilot, he holds a commercial pilot's license with instrument and multi-engine ratings.

Evan is a graduate of the Dallas Business Council for the Arts' Leadership Arts Program and served on the board of directors of Big Thought, A Learning Partnership. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association, and the Lawyer Pilots Bar Association.
