Jones Day welcomes Carine Mou Si Yan to Paris Office as partner in Financial Markets Practice

Carine Mou Si Yan has joined the Firm in Paris as a partner in the Financial Markets Practice.

Ms. Mou Si Yan has more than 15 years of experience advising clients on both cross-border and French finance transactions in the energy, infrastructure, and real estate sectors. She assists sponsors, lenders, and public entities on a wide range of financing transactions, with particular experience working on large-scale projects involving the development of renewable energy and public infrastructure. Ms. Mou Si Yan also advises on financings of real estate infrastructure, including data centers and sports and health care facilities.

"She has particularly deep experience in the finance, energy, infrastructure, and real estate industries, which complements our strengths as a global practice. Ms. Mou Si Yan joins a team of nearly 320 lawyers worldwide in the Financial Markets Practice who advise clients on the full range of complex cross-border financial transactions, regulatory matters, investigations, and litigation. She will assist French and international clients with all aspects of corporate transactions, working in close connection with Jones Day lawyers in the European and U.S. offices.

Ms. Mou Si Yan earned her LL.M. degree from New York University School of Law, a Masters of Business and Tax Law from Université Paris II Panthéon, and a Certificate in English Law and a D.E.S.S. in Business Law from University Paris XII. She is admitted to practice in Paris and New York. Ms. Mou Si Yan is recognized in the Legal 500 EMEA Guide as a "Key Lawyer" in the category of derivatives and structured finance.
