Laura Pembridge named among Law.com International Private Equity Rising Stars
Laura Pembridge, a partner in the Firm's Corporate Practice based in London, is among the 25 lawyers named "Private Equity Rising Stars" for 2023 by Law.com International. The list highlights the best of the up-and-coming talent in the UK and continental European legal industry for private equity lawyers under the age of 40.
Ms. Pembridge’s practice focuses on international and domestic private equity, M&A, and private equity real estate transactions. She advises on a wide variety of transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, investments, restructurings, and joint ventures. Recent highlights include advising DOOR, S.L.P. (a residential investment vehicle co-sponsored by Delancey and Oxford Properties) in relation to the acquisition by Aware Super of Qatari Diar's 22% stake in Get Living PLC, a developer and operator of large scale BTR neighborhoods, and related joint venture arrangements between APG and DOOR (who each control a 39% stake) and Aware, and advising Greystar Equity Partners Europe Fund I on its joint venture with Via Célere and the related forward-purchase of a 12 project portfolio of rental housing units in Spain.
