Jones Day partner Peter Schwingler again named among Minnesota Lawyer's "POWER 30 in Business Litigation"

Peter Schwingler, a partner in the Firm's Antitrust & Competition Law Practice based in the Minneapolis Office, has been named to Minnesota Lawyer's "POWER 30: Top Business Litigation Attorneys 2023" list. This is Mr. Schwingler's second consecutive year being named to the list. The honorees are derived from reporting by Minnesota Lawyer's editorial team, experience, peer comments, and outcomes of significant cases.

Mr. Schwingler is a nationally recognized antitrust litigator who has worked in both private practice and the U.S. government. His private practice experience includes defending clients in high-stakes antitrust class actions, Section 7 actions by the Antitrust Division, Second Requests before the Federal Trade Commission, and numerous civil and criminal antitrust investigations. Outside of his private practice, Mr. Schwingler served as a trial attorney for four years in the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. During this time, he conducted investigations into potential violations of U.S. antitrust laws, with a focus on merger reviews under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act.
